Chicago Ideas Chat Recap

Yesterday was a pretty good day. And by pretty good, I mean basically amazing! Of course I’m talking about my opportunity to host Chicago Ideas Week, weekly Twitter Chat: #IdeasChat.

For those of you unfamiliar with Chicago Ideas Week, they are basically the bomb dot com. The put on a week-long thought leadership festival that brings together some of the world’s most outstanding speakers and innovators to present their ideas in various events around the city of Chicago. Two years ago I attended a their talk featuring Mitch Albom and Deepak Chopra, and it was life changing.

Their weekly #IdeasChat is an open event on Twitter hosted by @ChicagoIdeas and a special guest. The chats range in topic week to week but mainly just aim to inspire fun conversations between strangers. What could be better right?

When they asked me to co-host I was thrilled! I pitched them a chat about personal branding and they thought it was a topic their followers would really respond to.  And respond they did! The chat was so fun and inspiring. Thank you to everyone who participated and even more to Chicago Ideas Week for being the best co-host a gal could ask for!

For those of you who missed it, worry not! I compiled a Storify recap just for my readers. Here were some of my favorite chat highlights:
